Be on the lookout for exciting new wines and vintages, new vines being planted in the vineyard and favorite annual events coming to Laurel Gray in 2016.

New Wines and Vintages

We are excited to be releasing new vintages of some of our best selling wines as well as adding a new Estate Reserve Petite Verdot to the collection.

Our 2015 Pinot Gris and 2013 Bounty are coming this spring. Be the first to sample them at our “Spring Wine Release” on April 9th-10th. This event is a Swan Creek Wine Trail event and is always a favorite among our fans. Mark your calendar now, so you can be one of the first to enjoy these delicious new wines.

We’re releasing a new vintage of our Encore wine on January 23rd. This is a wine you don’t want to miss! Encore is a decadent red blend that comes to life with an infusion of black raspberries and a touch of rich chocolate. Stop by in the New Year to try this treat for yourself!

Events

We’re kicking off spring of 2016 with two Swan Creek events. We loved participating in these events last year and are thrilled to be a part of them again.

Our “For the Love of Chocolate” event is back! Visit each of the Swan Creek Wine Trail Vineyards and receive a sample of decadent chocolate paired with an award winning red wine. Taking place February 13th–14th, it’s just in time for a romantic Valentine’s date. No cost for the samples.

Come to the “Local Wine and Cheese Pairing” event March 5th–6th. Visit each of the Swan Creek Wine Trail vineyards Saturday, March 5th from noon to 5 pm and Sunday, March 6th from 1 pm to 5 pm and receive a free sample of cheese paired with an award winning wine.

Participating vineyards for both events are Laurel Gray, Dobbins Creek, Raffaldini, Shadow Springs and Windsor Run.

From the Vineyard

Life in the vineyard never stops. Pruning begins the first of February and will not be completed until the end of March. Then, it’s straight to the next task:

This April, we’re adding more grapes. For all our Cabernet Sauvignon fans out there, we’ll be planting a new section of the vineyard with these luscious grapes. Give us a few years and we will be winning ever more international medals for this estate wine.

We certainly have lots planned for 2016! Don’t miss any of the exciting happenings at Laurel Gray by signing up for our email newsletter.
